Hi Tea @ Seri Malaysia, Ipoh

Pas abih sesi petang Kursus Bestari, I rush to Seri Malaysia for Hi-Tea. My frend said, for the event we need to wear baju batik but only some dress in it. Huh. If I know la, I won’t bersusah payah pakai baju batik. My frend herself pun x pakai baju batik. Geram sungguh!

And my geram doesn’t stop at there. Three persons (or more) said that I look more tembam. Tensionnyer. Why shud I do. I try to control my food but still …… ahhhh!!! Shud I do something extreme? I don’t know y it’s so hard for me to get ideal weight.

Erm...geram geram pun, alhamdullilah dapat jugak hadiah nombor bertuah. I got a hamper of snack food. Yummy but I pass to another frend. Kalau makan snek, nanti lagi tembam pulak. Since 2007, I never miss to get lucky draw during staff Hi-Tea. Perhaps I’m a lucky tcer.

Actually I come to Hi-Tea with one aim. I want to observe mama, her steps and her words. I am really curious about her. And my mission accomplish. Sempat gak cakap gn dier mase ambik hadiah cabutan bertuah.

Hi-tea end with announcement of next year staff community. Those who lucky are …..all are new teacher at here accept seorang cikgu yg dh lama kt skool ni. Selamat berbahagia kdp semua yg jd ajk kelab guru thn depan. Next year, jangan buat Hi-Tea di seri Malaysia lagi ye. x besh langsung.

Kursus Pembestarian: Hari ke-8

Morning session:
Presentation of Curriculum Frame Question

presentation by En Borhan, En Azlizan, En Nizam, Cik Ila, Cik CTila and me. still pening-pening lalat nak buat essential question, unit questions and content questions. i thought i made correct questions but then, i still made a lot of m******.

After-Tea Break session:
Introduction of Unit Plan and MindMaps.

huh...wat happen to me. I'm lost! td pening skarang dh naik giler. Mindmap dh bincang last week tp ulang balik ari ni. Faci suruh illutrate the PBL using mindmap but i dont have any idea how my project will be carry out. blurrr.... (thinking of lunch)

During memecah otak buat mindmap, tetiba faci tunjuk example of Unit Plan. For lesson we need to compose lesson plan but for PBL we need to compose Unit Plan....so, unit plan ni adelah perancangan projek kite lah. Unit plan consist of summary, curriculum framing question, time frame etc.

After-Lunch session:
Share and compare mindmap.
Faci explain how to write project summary for unit plan. Then, presentation of mindmap. Cik CTila becomes the first presenter.(big hand for her) then....another presentation and so on....While others present their works, I'm bz finishing my mindmap. At last, siap jugak. Yahooooo.......!

Kursus Pembestarian: Hari ke tujuh

Aktiviti hari ini:
  • Explore web PBL Intel
  • Pebentangan dapatan daripada web PBL Intel
  • Taklimat Soalan Berasaskan Kurikulum
  • Perbincangan klasifikasi Soalan Berasaskan Kurikulum

Walaupun jasad di BTP, minda dan jiwa saya di sekolah. Hari ni, lecturer USM datang ke sekolah untuk memantau Projek Warga. Cam mana la agaknya persediaan pelajar. Sian kat Cikgu Khatijah sebab terpaksa menanggung beban kerja saya. Tapi saya pun frust sebab tak dapat nak sudahkan projek ni.

Projek Warga adalah satu projek yang dianjurkan oleh Intensif Kewarganegaraan Malaysia,USM. Kali ni, projek ni dijalankan dengan usahasama UPSI. Dalam projek ini pelajar dikendaki mengenalpasti masalah setempat dan kaitkannya dengan kelemahan dasar sedia ada. Kemudian, pelajar dikendaki mencadangkan satu dasar yang dapat menangani masalah itu. Hasil daripada kajian projek dipersembahkan dalam bentuk panel dan binder.

Terdapat 11 buah sekolah negeri perak yang dipilih untuk menjalankan projek ni. setiap sekolah akan buat dua kumpulan, BM dan BI. saya selaku mentor untuk kumpulan projek BI. Sedih rasanya terpaksa hand over projek ni setelah berhari-hari stay back untuk buat projek ni. Tapi harapnya nanti dapat la join pelajar g ke UPSI untuk presentation projek warga.
